Paul M. RennerPaul M. Renner is a shareholder and practices in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial and residential landlord/tenant construction law, Internet related matters, and election law.

Mr. Renner graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Following graduation, he entered the U.S. Navy's Officer Candidate School where he earned his commission as an officer.

During Operation Desert Storm, Mr. Renner was deployed to a combat zone in the Northern Persian Gulf where he served until thnewse successful conclusion of that war.  After the war, Paul attended law school at the University of Florida. He was selected to the Moot Court Team and represented his school in competitions in New York and Florida. He also volunteered time to act as a mock judge for appellate practice students.

Upon graduation, Mr. Renner returned to public service as an Assistant State Attorney in South Florida. He was selected to supervise misdemeanor attorneys and later prosecuted serious felony offenses as a lead trial attorney in the Felony Trial Unit. While there, he tried countless jury trials, from which he developed significant trial experience and enhanced his skills as a litigator. His substantial litigation experience has become invaluable in his advocacy for his clients since entering civil practice.

His affiliations, interests and honors include:

  • Member, Jacksonville Bar Association

  • Member, The Florida Bar

  • Authorized to practice before the United States District Court

  • Service on two statewide bar committees, including the Computer Law Committee and Military Affairs Committee

  • Continued service to his country as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve working throughout South America as a liaison officer between local authorities, the U.S. Embassy, and visiting U.S. Navy personnel

  • Active member Republican National Lawyers Association
